Dayton Homemade Chocolates & Gift Baskets is family owned & operated business that has been serving Clifton and its surrounding towns since 1912! The business got its moniker from when it was located on the corner of Dayton & Highland Aves in Passaic, NJ. The business is still owned today by the Mikardos family.
Generations of customers come to the store, many from towns and states far away. A large variety of milk, dark and sugar-free chocolates are made year round with only the finest ingredients. We also feature chocolate covered strawberries, homemade fudge, gourmet truffles, hand-dipped caramel & candy apples, Jelly Belly jelly beans, gourmet gift baskets, party trays and favors.
While we sell more than just chocolate today, it is still the centerpiece of the business and our family continues to operate in the same Old World tradition of our founders.
